National Philanthropy Day

National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is a special time set aside to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community – to the enrichment of our world. November 15 has been designated by the Association of Fundraising Professionals as the permanent date. This celebration provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible.

NPD Philanthropy Awards Celebration: The highlight of NPD is the annual awards celebration to recognize outstanding achievements by individuals, foundations and corporate philanthropists on the Treasure Coast. This year’s awards will be presented during a luncheon on Tuesday, November 14th at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club. All nominees will be recognized and celebrated during the event and award recipients will be announced.

What are the award categories? 

To honor its many donors and volunteers, the Treasure Coast Chapter has established the following recognition categories:

*Outstanding Group Supporting Philanthropy
*Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist
*Outstanding Small Business Philanthropist

*Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
*Unsung Hero
*Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (Age 12 and under)
*Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (Age 13 to 19)
*Leave a Legacy
