Sharpen Your Skills at Fundamentals of Fundraising ‘Boot Camp’ July 30-31
Mark your calendars for July 30–31 for AFP Treasure Coast’s upcoming Fundamentals of Fundraising ‘Boot Camp’—a two-day, intensive training designed to strengthen your fundraising skills and strategies.
The course is composed of 7 modules that have been designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face every day. This 16-hour program includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals to make the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable. This intensive program will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components for individuals with 0 to 5 years of fundraising experience. It is also a great refresher for those with more experience. The modules include:
- Overview of Fundraising
- Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program
- Marketing for Ongoing Success
- Building and Sustaining Relationships
- Securing the Gift
- Volunteers - Partners in Fundraising
- Management and Accountability
The cost to participants is $125 for AFP members and $175 for future members. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided each day.
Whether you’re new to fundraising or looking to sharpen your approach, this bootcamp will offer valuable insights, hands-on learning, and opportunities to connect with peers in the nonprofit community.

Nominations are now being accepted through August 31, 2026
All nominees will be recognized and celebrated during the event when award recipients are announced. The nominee or a representative of the nominee is required to be present for the luncheon ceremony. Nominees are eligible to be re-nominated if that nominee has not been selected as an award recipient in the past five years (since 2021).
The Award Categories are: Luminary Award, Corporate Philanthropy Award, Small Biz, Big Heart Award, Legacy Award, Hidden Gem Award, Community Impact Award, Rising Star Award
Organizations are eligible to submit two nominations.
