JUDGING CRITERIA
AFP Treasure Coast ensures ethical practices regarding the selection of National Philanthropy Day award recipients. Each year, nominations are sent out of area for the judging process.
In 2022, nominations were judged by AFP Southwest Chapter in Sarasota, Florida. The judges did not know the nominees. Nominations were judged on the responses to the criteria submitted by the nominating organizations.
On occasion we honor one of our own, a chapter fundraising professional, with the Calvin Douglas Award for exemplary service to the chapter and its members. This award is named In Honor and Memory of Calvin H. Douglas who was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by this chapter just prior to his passing in 2006.
