National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is a special time set aside to recognize the great contributions of our hometown heroes, who are active in the philanthropic community, working together to change the world and make our home a special place to live. In the midst of everything that 2020 has come with, it was important to pause and appreciate the GOOD taking place around us.

This year 21 outstanding individuals and groups were nominated in the Treasure Coast for their commitment to our community. For their vital contributions, volunteer work, and advocacy for causes – for the lives of others. That’s incredible, and inspiring! We hope you feel inspired by this, too. 

We hope to celebrate in person next year, and enjoy the cheer, handshakes and celebratory hugs that we so enjoyed during NPD in years past. In 2020 though, with the health and wellness of our community in mind, in lieu of a large in-person event, the AFP Treasure Coast Chapter took to technology and delivered celebration baskets to recognize those nominated. 

While those participating celebrated safe at home or with a small group, we were all together in spirit. 
Together, we celebrate, and overflow with appreciation.
